Wedding Week Re-cap

This past week was super busy, but simultaneously a sweet and exciting time as my older sister and her fiance said their "I Do's". It was such an honor to share and be apart of this special moment in their lives and also really enjoyed visiting back home for a few days, as well as getting to visit with family from out of town.

Started the week off with a lovely and very relaxing Bridal Spa Day. It was such a fun time for us all to get together and release our stress and relax before the Big Day.

Next up was the rehearsal dinner-- first at the ceremony site, The Rose Garden of Balboa Park. This is absolutely one of the most gorgeous locations, as the rose bushes just radiate an exquisite burst of color filling the background with such joy, romance, and beauty.

Off to an Italian Restaurant our family has gone to for many many years for all our family celebrations, they have some incredibly delicious food! We ordered every pizza imaginable-- Supreme, Pineapple and Jalapeno, Meat Lovers, Pepperoni, plus some antipasti salads, and bruschettas for starters. And of course had to end it with some dessert, cannolis, they were amazing!

Aunt and Uncle-- the man who also was
officiating the marriage.

Finally the big day has arrived and we had to get started bright and early as the wedding was just in the late morning. So we headed to the Bride's house and I made some Coconut Strawberry Bread with a fruit salad, and enjoyed cups of tea.

The flowers arrived that the Bride's very talented friend created-- they were gorgeous, along with the centerpieces she created for the reception luncheon at the Prado Restaurant in Balboa Park.

And finally some pictures of the gorgeous wedding! Every moment was pure bliss, and she had such an intimate gathering but really allowed us all to savor and cherish each moment-- it was beautiful!

It was such a stunning and perfect day, the Bride was breathtaking and they were both so filled with such sweet joy! Congratulations you two love birds, blessings on your marriage.
