Nutella Brownies

These nutella brownies are always a husband's favorite-- they are soft, fudgy, chocolaty treat! I also brought these to class for one of the student's birthday and everyone loved them. They were consumed in a matter of seconds, all asking for more. And actually, I replaced the oil with avocado and apple sauce, not one person noticed, giving these brownies a more healthier take so you can feel a little less guilty. The nutella adds a delightful twist to the already cherished dessert, but making them that much more desirable and decadent.

Nutella Brownies:
Adapted from: Mother Thyme
1/2 avocado, mashed
1/4 cup apple sauce
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp nutella
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cocoa powder
chocolate chips/sprinkles (optional)

Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Grease baking dish (11x7). In a bowl mash the avocado, add apple sauce, vanilla, nutella and eggs. Whisk together until  well combined. In a another bowl add the flour, cocoa powder, and sugar, mix thoroughly. Slowly combine dry mixture while stirring. Stir until the mixture is completely mixed through. Pour into baking pan, top with chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips if desired. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes. Remove and let cool.
